Sailing away

5 years ago five people set out on an adventure that would take them 352 days and 20000 miles to complete; those five people are my family. In 2006 a 47.3 foot (14m) yacht left Turkey - traveled through countless Greek islands to the Agean Sea, which upon leaving, hundreds of dolphins swarmed to bid ust farewell. Towards Italy we sailed - through the Scicilain striat - to Corsica where we encountered 'The Falcon' a ship of tremendous proportions famous for it's three free stading masts - to Spain - to Gibraltar - to the Canery islands - 17 days without seeing land crossing the Atlantic ocean - to the clear waters of Barbados and up the Carribean
